📍 Data Centre Planning Application

You may remember the planning application for a proposed data centre at the junction of Rabans Lane and Faraday Road.

The application has now been withdrawn. While this is positive news, it doesn't necessarily mean the proposal has gone away permanently, as it could be resubmitted in the future. At this stage, no reason has been given for the withdrawal, and the applicant is under no obligation to provide one.

🚧 Rabans Lane Roadworks

Some residents have asked about the recent repair work to the left turn from Bicester Road into Rabans Lane.

We can confirm that these were not the postponed junction improvement works previously mentioned. Those works are still in the programme, although they may be delayed further depending on the weather.

📋 Community Centre Notice Board

The issue of reinstating the Aylesbury Town Council notice board at the Community Centre has been raised. The Council will review requests from local members, although the relevant committee is not expected to meet until the autumn.

It has also been suggested that Haydon Hill Community Association would be happy to manage and update the notice board should it be reinstated.
