Spinworks Site - update

We have made contact with the project manager for the current works at the Spinworks site to remove the three tanks and concrete structures. They look after one part of the Spinworks site, not all of it.

“Firstly I apologise for the noise. With my 30 plus years experience it even caught me off guard last week. I understand that some of you had a long drawn affair with the last demolition works on the old buildings. 

This is the last phase of demo I believe on this site. 

Due to the noise last week, this week we started half hour later at 8.30 for noisy works and finished a bit earlier. We also won’t be working on weekends. 

We wont be starting noise works before 8.30 am, and will cease by 4pm. 

All of the tanks are now out and ready for removal. 

Now it’s about the concrete. We will use a muncher where possible rather than a breaker. 

I have a 6 week programme to complete this but I hope to be out earlier than this and will keep you updated as we progress.”
